Get a Google (Gemini) API key

A Google AI Studio (Gemini) key lets an app call Google's image models, including Nano Banana Pro. Monk cannot generate ads with it yet, so you do not need this key today.

Do you need this today?

No. The Google engine is not live. If you save a Google key and select that engine, generation fails.

Use Higgsfield instead, it is the engine that runs today:

How to get it (for when it lands)

1. Go to aistudio.google.com/apikey.
2. Click Create API key.
3. Copy the key (it starts with AIza).
4. Keep it somewhere safe until Monk supports the Google engine.

Is it safe?

Any key you paste into Monk is encrypted at rest, used only to generate your ads, and never shared or shown in full. That will hold for a Google key too once the engine ships.
